Vacancy 1: Customer Service and Trade SaleVacancy 2: Trade Sales and StorepersonSmall, hardworking and dedicated team!Here at Steel and Tube we have two opportunities for switched on, fit, and hardworking individuals to provide varied all-round support within our Gisborne operation. The two roles are similar in nature but have a different focus. One being customer service and trade shop and the other covering trade shop sales and working in our steel store.Customer Service and Trade Sales: you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our calling and walk in customers. We pride ourselves on being a solutions focused organisation and putting customers at the heart of our business. Whilst we do operate in a trade format environment, you will also need to provide that same level of service by email and phone. Additionally, you would be filling racks, assembling orders, dispatching and receipting of goods.Trade Sales and Storeperson: much like the above, you too will need to be able to service our customers in the trade shop and ensure that the trade shop is adequately stocked. In addition to this you will be responsible for the safe handling and storage of our steel products in the warehouse. For the most part, long product and bulk orders are sent direct to our customers but there is still a significant portion of our customer base who come in to collect their orders. You will be responsible in providing them the service on collect orders. This includes the use of a gantry crane. A forklift licence is preferred and if not a full class 1 licence is essential in order to get your F endorsement.  We are a company that is wholeheartedly committed to our customers, our shareholders and to being a good employer.
