We have an exciting opportunity for a Dispatch Operator to join our team. You will assist in co-ordinating the movement of the inwards and outwards activities in the warehouse as directed by the Despatch Supervisor and Logistics Manager. You will ensure our customer orders are delivered in full and on time, with an emphasis on Health and Safety, Quality and Customer Service. You will also be required to work on the numerous Roofing machines to ensure production levels are maintained. You will be responsible for: Collaborating with operation staff to assist with coordinating customer deliveries. Checking loads to ensure that they are correct.Enter data, update and maintain transport provider portals Package, label and make ready all goods as per delivery docketEnsure that all freight contractors/customers to the branch are fully inducted to the Health & Safety proceduresRunning Roofing machines to ensure production are maintained Some of your skills and qualities are:Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in Dispatch. Be highly customer focussed.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High level of computer literacy and ability to learn new computer systems.Great organisation and time management skills.Ability to work under pressure and use initiative to solve problems. Pro-active, flexible and ‘can do’ attitude.
