We have an excellent opportunity for a Machine Operator to join our team based in Riccarton on the day shift.We manufacture a wide range of products and we are looking for someone who has experience in the industry, who also is looking to grow and develop their career in this area.Ideally you would have experience in operating a Rollforming machine that produces purlins but we are prepared to train the right person with the right attitude.Our ideal candidate will have the following skills, experience and attributes:Must be organised, and with good problem solving skillsStrong time management, and able to work independentlyMust be a team player, trustworthy and take pride in their workExcellent attention to detailMust be physically fit for manual handling of the steel productsSteel and Tube is New Zealand’s leading distributor and processor of metal and related products.
