We are now excited to invite applications for the role of National Merchants – Reticulation Specialist. As our next Reticulation Specialist, you will use your knowledge of reticulation, cable and pipe support systems, fire protection, HEVAC and electrical containment sectors to provide excellent customer support and advice, build and maintain strong working relationships with customers and suppliers, and assist with key tenders and projects. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:Proactively forge relationships with high level consultants, engineers, construction companies, and developersWork with the Sales Leadership to create strategies for managing key customer accountsLiaise with product and category management to strategise and implement sales & marketing initiativesLiaises with suppliers and Carbon Steel Procurement to decide on a suitable product offerAdvise on pricing, margins, and commercial terms with the assistance of GPMsActively looks for opportunities to add value to our overall offer making our proposition more compelling, assisting branches and direct to customerManage all enquiries and tenders specifically relating to building services This senior role will see you support and encourage managers and their teams to fully understand the dynamics of the business each customer is involved in (with an emphasis on key customers). You will utilise your technical product expertise to create and drive national product strategies to increase sales and profit margins. Experience and skillset requirements:Demonstrated work experience within the building services sectorProven experience in developing and maintaining customer and supplier relationshipsPassionate about delivering exceptional customer serviceAbility to understand customer needs and provide solutionsAbility to consult with engineers and provide support on key tenders and projectsExperience in providing advice on stock range and sourcingA high level of motivation, commitment and an abundance of energyA positive, hardworking attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to read plansTechnical expertise in reticulation and support system products and markets Experience as a product specialist and experience in marketing or sales within the building services industry would be advantageous.
