We have a national network of branches and distribution centres and we're involved in a wide range of projects, from infrastructure and commercial construction to engineering, manufacturing, viticulture and rural industries.About this roleAs our Product Manager you will be responsible for the full product cycle of the Fasteners and Industrial product portfolio strategy – leading the activities to grow the sales of each of the 15,000 active items sold each year, and also leveraging Fasteners customers to grow the full suite of Steel & Tube products.Your role will be: Understanding the Fasteners and Industrial products markets, including competitor offerings, brand and product developments, customer insights and trends.Driving sustainable growth in the gross margin performance and improved performance in every key metric of success of each product range in the portfolio.Steering the strategic sourcing of products to enhance our product offerings.Conducting negotiations that not only fortify relationships but also elevate the company's profitability and overall value.Delivering high quality product training and promotional programmes to internal and external stakeholders critical in growing sales channelsCollaborating across various functions, ensuring that sales, procurement, supply chain operations, quality, pricing, account management and customer service teams are in sync with category strategies.As the right candidate, you bring a balanced mix of analytical prowess and creative thinking, positioning you to meet our current needs and to anticipate the future direction of the market.
