QHSET Advisor - North Island
Do you enjoy finding solutions and working your way through complex well-being processes and supporting our Managers to help them work within legislation and balancing their business needs.
We are looking for a new QHSET Advisor to support the development and implementation of QHSET strategies, policies and practices that will facilitate the achievement of the company’s stated QHSET objectives across the Business.
To be successful in this role, you’ll be an excellent communicator and facilitator, with proven skill in managing your own tasks and time. You are supremely organised, with a high attention to detail and not afraid to jump in and get things done, while upholding company values, process and plans.
You will possess the following skills and qualities:
- Experience working with ACC Accredited Employers Programme
- Providing provision of professional advice on injury and illness management matters to People & Culture and Managers
- Exposure to Quality, Health, Safety, Environmental & Training experience (3 years preferred)
- Ability to converse with and engage Senior Management, clients, subcontractors, and/or employees of the organisation.
- Knowledge of NZ Health & Safety Legislation- NZ Health & Safety at Work Act 2015.
- Experience with Work Safe New Zealand rules and regulations.
- Advanced MS Office Suite- Word, PowerPoint, Excel proficiency
- Relevant Quality, Health & Safety qualification.
- Experienced at establishing and working with digital Quality, Health and Safety management systems.
- Training in relevant QHSET methodologies, e.g. Lean Six Sigma, Behaviour Based Programs, Root Cause Analysis, Risk Assessment, Occupational Health and Safety and NZ HSE regulatory requirements.
